In the Philippines, espasol is kept at room temperature and no one would think of chilling them.
And they’re shaped long.
However… in order to reach the United States, they have to be shipped really cold.
And this version of “espasol” that Tropics exports is short pieces thinner than what real Filipinos are familiar with in the Philippines.
We may be able to soon get a version of espasol that’s closer to what we know in the Philippines.
