In the mid-1940’s, a pharmacist named Dr. Esperanza Castro-Palting created a new product for the skincare needs of women. Inspired by the word “skin”, Dr. Castro-Palting named it Eskinol. She, along with 20 workers, mixed a solution that was launched into the market as ESKINOL MEDICATED FACIAL LOTION. The first batch was of 200 bottles that started a new chapter in the history of skin care products in the Philippines.
